Diversity Mailer playing card/poster set

The need for more diverse voices in media is immense, and UCI wanted to do something to highlight the efforts of those recognized for doing the work necessary to make other voices heard in a crowded media space. We developed a series of posters and printed items highlighting quotes made by people or institutions speaking to this need, and a set of playing cards customized to reflect “difference” from everything already out there.

Task

Our main goal to create a set of playing cards that stand out as "other" and collectible. The all black card meant to set it apart from every other card on the market.
